Beehive (LR)

The roof of the LR beehive is made from a wooden frame (pine) covered with an OSB board and finished with metal sheeting. The roof height is 8 cm, allowing it to fully overlap the brood box and 1 cm of the upper super.

The LR beehive brood box is made from pine wood, with all loose knots treated and the wood surface prepared for painting.

It has space for a feeder up to 3 L and an additional opening in another section.

The LR beehive brood chamber is made from dried pine boards, all knots treated, and the supers joined using finger joints, glued, and reinforced with nails. The wood surface is finely finished and ready for painting.

The LR beehive bottom board is made from pine wood, with all loose knots treated and the wood surface prepared for painting.

The wire used is aluminum.

The beehive drawer can be made from:

• Masonite
• Galvanized sheet metal
