The DB 12 hive roof is made of a wooden frame (pine) covered with an OSB board and wrapped in sheet metal. The DB 12 hive roof has a weight that ensures it remains securely in place even in severe weather conditions or strong winds.
The roof height is 8 cm, allowing it to fully overlap the brood box and extend 1 cm over the upper super.
