Brood Box / Hive Body (DB 12)

The DB 12 brood box / hive body is made from dried pine boards. All knots have been repaired, and the extensions are joined using a finger joint, which is one of the strongest connections. The brood boxes are glued with wood adhesive and reinforced with metal staples. The wood surface of the brood box / hive body is finely finished and sanded, ready for painting. The board forming the brood box / hive body is 20mm thick.
