The LR hive roof is made of a wooden frame (pine) covered with an OSB board and wrapped in sheet metal. The weight of the LR hive roof ensures that it stays in place even in severe weather conditions or strong winds.
The roof height is 8 cm, covering the entire hive cluster and extending 1 cm over the top box.
